This episode is pretty much unplanned, as opposed to my previous efforts. Here you'll find Omid (with Buck 65), Shearwater, Tarwater, Caribou, Ty, Cut Copy and, in a first appearance for Jazz, Jeff Albert. Finally the third episode appears. Pretty much on time for this one, only 4 days late. This time around I've made a change in the way I do things. Rather than plan out what I'm going to say I decided to make brief notes, such as the web addresses for the artists and labels, and to just make the rest up as I go along. This show features a mixture of tunes which have grabbed my attention during the previous months, namely Lost on Purpose, Mouse on Mars, The Wades, Dr. Atmo and Paul Brtschitsch, Great Lake Swimmers, Ezekiel Honig, Paul Duncan and Gotye. The first episode of Continental Drift Radio featuring some of the tunes I've liked during the last few months. This show is the first of what I'm sure will be a few experiments while I tinker with the format and get used to the sound of my own voice (you know what I mean). This episode features a mixture of slow songs and electonic tunes, I'll vary the songs later, it just happened to turn out this way this time. In case you're wondering, the title "Continental Drift Radio" refers to the length of time it has taken me to do this. I first talked about it about 5-6 months ago and have finally got my act together now.
